PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA – “DATA PRIVACY”
Hello, we are RP COMPONENTES, our operations involve the production, development, marketing and assistance of components and surgical instruments for implant prostheses (including the implants themselves), their components, their own instruments, and biomaterials, all related to implants.
In August 2018, Law 13709/2018, better known as the General Personal Data Protection Law (LGPD), was published. Therefore, in view of the new reality and maintaining good relationships with consumers and clients, RP COMPONENTES has a practices for the processing and use of personal data and information security.
This text clarifies the main concepts of the Law (LGPD), providing transparency on how we treat your data, the care taken to ensure security and how you can exercise your rights arising from the Law.
This document was approved by the management of RP COMPONENTES (partners and Directors) and is part of the DATA PROTECTION POLICY (PLGPD) of RP CONEXÕES, which provides specific training and controls.
MAIN CONCEPTS
HOLDER is the natural person to whom the personal data that is subject to processing refers;
PERSONAL DATA is information related to the identified or identifiable natural person;
SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA is personal data on racial or ethnic origin, religious conviction, political opinion, membership of a trade union or organization of a religious, philosophical or political nature, data relating to health or sexual life, genetic or biometric data, when linked to a natural person;
CONTROLLER is the natural or legal person, governed by public or private law, who is responsible for decisions regarding the processing of personal data;
PROCESSOR/OPERATOR is a natural or legal person, governed by public or private law, who processes personal data on behalf of the controller;
ANONYMIZED DATA is data relating to a holder who cannot be identified, considering the use of reasonable technical means available at the time of its processing;
DATABASE is the structured set of personal data, established in one or more locations, in electronic or physical format;
For due clarification, RP COMPONENTES acts as CONTROLLER , when receiving information from its customers and carrying out its activity, it acts in its own name, under its guidance and control.
TREATMENTS - RP CONEXÕES

The activities of RP COMPONENTES, for its production and marketing of dental implant materials, receive and process personal data solely for the purpose of marketing its products.

As stated, our intention is to sell RP COMPONENTES products, therefore, we will only keep your data in our possession during the commercial relationship with customers, after which we will observe the due legal or contractual storage deadlines and we will dispose and delete these data securely (the deletion of personal data is carried out by a third party company).

In certain cases, we use third parties to process some of our customers' personal data, aiming to better serve our interests and observing all possible good practices for the safe and conscious processing of this data.

The processing of this data will be carried out following the good practices and security measures described in the Law and in the contract, ensuring full respect and security for our customers' data.

How to exercise your rights
The rights mentioned above are exercised upon an express request from the holder or legally constituted representative.
Requests/requests must follow a standard (MODEL) provided by RP COMPONENTES (Ac esse here) .
When it is impossible to comply with a specific request, RP COMPONENTES will inform the requestor of the reasons, since the company works with information and systems provided by its clients/CONTROLLERS, and in some cases only the client may be able to meet certain requests.
The entire procedure resulting from such requests will be carried out at no additional cost to the holders of personal data, observing the terms and deadlines provided for by law.
